New Support for Yahoo Address Book / Yahoo Mail
This weekend we launched support for 37Signals Highrise CRM application. Tonight we have launched new support for the Yahoo Address Book and Yahoo Mail. Basically you just need to download the Yahoo Address Book file inside of your CloudContacts account and then add the contacts to the Yahoo Address Book and then the contacts will be supported across all Yahoo applications.
To add the contacts, follow these steps:
1. Download your contacts from your CloudContacts account using the Yahoo download option
2. Load the Yahoo Address Book
3. Click the Import/Export option on the right side of the page
4. Select the Yahoo CSV option (as seen in the image below) and find the contact file you downloaded in step 1
5. Click “Import Now” and you are done! Contacts will be in the address book and available via Yahoo Mail.
Note: There is an “Import Contacts” option inside of Yahoo Mail. I wouldn’t suggest using this as it forces you to an external service for contact integration. It’s not needed if you follow the above steps.
